Oil on canvas
Still a mystery. The disappearance of Malaysia Airlines flight 370.
I paint late into the night and often have the BBC broadcast on my headphones. When the jetliner first vanished, many experts speculated upon the possibility of heist/kidnapping of the aircraft, and the potential ways a plane might escape attention. I painted these two images based on the hypothetical ways in which an aircraft could evade radar. Flying so HIGH as to avoid detection, and the alternate, flying dangerously LOW just skimming the surface of the sea.
