For those with short memory spans, I believe there is plenty of time TODAY to review the battle fatigue of the mighty USA. Just 50 years ago featured the slog and destruction of Vietnam. I remember the protest concerts in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco circa 1969/70/71/72/73. This brutal chapter of US history is rarely spoken about or referred to at family tables, or, podiums in our capital. Did you ever wonder if it was not the caustic COLD WAR, but a race to dominate resources? Rubber, minerals, potential oil reserves? (Does your cell phone feel heavy now?)
Is it too late to sloooowwww down - forever war?
